Project Overview summary
Objective Edit several web pages including but not limited to News, People, and Research with up to date information.
Steps Draft new versions of selected pages, submit for comments, and apply suggestions before implementation. List current areas improvement on the selected pages and brainstorm potential solutions. Gather references from other science-focused websites. Create wire frames for each proposed layout. Find SEO and accessibility vulnerabilities throughout the site and correct them.
Just found that each template in micro.blog has a Settings feature for more customization. How did I miss that…?
Seems I just had to fix some styling. Light mode color scheme applied!
I take that back, the blog does have custom styling.
Scratch that, my micro.blog theme has 0 active custom styling.

I totally forgot to add the light mode color scheme to the microblog…
Another thing I gotta fix on the site is the two header nav styles that aren’t displaying. I think it’s because of the iframe. So I want to transfer the site to 11ty because I think that will fix it. I should also check that one tutorial that showed how to code different types of header Navy depending on screen size.
Need to add to the site’s changelog the date the domain name changed.
Oh boy oh boy, is it exciting to update my site! From a new homepage to header and footer and an RSS feed, I’m once again excited to see my #site!

I think I’ll use Quill for now. I like the minimalist UI and I don’t require any other functionality other than posting text. Hooray! Edit: it also takes way less taps than the micro.blog app to get the words out.
