This is a list of environmentally friendly habits I have been developing since 2020. This list includes items, habits, and sustainable alternatives. It began as a collection in my bullet journal that I decided to share with a larger number of people.
The purpose behind this page is to have a comprehensive list of earth-friendly options that support circular economies, sustainable consumption, and the low-waste movement. My axiom is “buy local, organic, and avoid non-petroleum based and single-use materials whenever possible.”
Many of these alternatives will be familiar to people who have been alive wat before plastic-based materials and single-use items became a commodity. In that way, this is a going back to basics kind of list.
